Narrative:

Center and approach control had repeatedly asked us to keep our speed up. I was slow to configure the aircraft in a timely manner and although the aircraft was on the glide slope; had to deploy the spoilers below 1000 ft so as to slow the aircraft and be able to put the flaps down; thereby not properly configuring for a stable approach until approximately 600 ft AGL. Should have gone around instead of landing.
