Narrative:
[Shortly after the flight took off]; I got acars message saying; 'returnng [to departure airport]'; followed by 'fumes'. I notified ops and maintenance control. Flight landed normally; but heavy weight (163.1). Passengers were ok. The ca (captain) said they and flight attendant's (flight attendants) smelled acrid; burning fumes in both front and aft galley. And that both galley lights were flickering at the same time.

Title: Air carrier Dispatcher reported a B737-800 flight he was working returned to departure airport after experiencing 'acrid; burning' fumes in the galleys.
Narrative: [Shortly after the flight took off]; I got ACARs message saying; 'RETURNNG [to departure airport]'; followed by 'FUMES'. I notified Ops and Maintenance control.
