Narrative:
This was a takeoff abort lax runway 24L at 100-110 KTS. No emergency declared. Cleared runway and pulled to the remote area R1 for brake cooling and company maintenance advice. Maintenance came to the aircraft, performed a takeoff warning check as that was the reason for the abort. Takeoff warning horn came on around 100-110 KTS. Waited the required time for brake energy cooling and another takeoff was attempted and successful. Probable cause was the takeoff trim at the very top end of the green band. Maybe too close since we were so light for takeoff. We were released by maintenance and air carrier operations. We had the proper amount of release fuel, log book, ok, etc. The reason for filing this report is that I was advised by air carrier safety to file NASA as the FAA is looking at the aborted takeoff. I don't know of a thing that I did wrong. I did file the captain's irregularity report per air carrier operations manual at sea.

Title: ABORTED TKOF DUE TO TKOF WARNING HORN.
Narrative: THIS WAS A TKOF ABORT LAX RWY 24L AT 100-110 KTS. NO EMER DECLARED. CLRED RWY AND PULLED TO THE REMOTE AREA R1 FOR BRAKE COOLING AND COMPANY MAINT ADVICE. MAINT CAME TO THE ACFT, PERFORMED A TKOF WARNING CHK AS THAT WAS THE REASON FOR THE ABORT. TKOF WARNING HORN CAME ON AROUND 100-110 KTS. WAITED THE REQUIRED TIME FOR BRAKE ENERGY COOLING AND ANOTHER TKOF WAS ATTEMPTED AND SUCCESSFUL. PROBABLE CAUSE WAS THE TKOF TRIM AT THE VERY TOP END OF THE GREEN BAND. MAYBE TOO CLOSE SINCE WE WERE SO LIGHT FOR TKOF. WE WERE RELEASED BY MAINT AND ACR OPS. WE HAD THE PROPER AMOUNT OF RELEASE FUEL, LOG BOOK, OK, ETC. THE REASON FOR FILING THIS RPT IS THAT I WAS ADVISED BY ACR SAFETY TO FILE NASA AS THE FAA IS LOOKING AT THE ABORTED TKOF. I DON'T KNOW OF A THING THAT I DID WRONG. I DID FILE THE CAPT'S IRREGULARITY RPT PER ACR OPS MANUAL AT SEA.
