Narrative:
I was talking to 2 VFR small aircraft's reporting north of the eyw VOR. I exchanged traffic (we have no BRITE scope--we use pilot position reports). I spotted 1 small aircraft (small aircraft X) and after positive identify I cleared him to land. While looking for the other small aircraft Y through a pair of binoculars my ground controller spotted an medium large transport (IFR) turning left base inside the VOR at high rate of speed. I pointed out traffic to small aircraft X, cancelled his landing clearance and made him #2 to land to follow the medium large transport. I believe I also told him to widen his base out to the west. Meanwhile the ground controller calling nqx to switch the medium large transport to my frequency. (I still wasn't talking to him and he was about to turn final.) I called to see if he was on the frequency at the same time he called me. I then called him again, gave him his landing information and cleared him to land. The captain came to visit the tower I said that nqx told him that he was #1 for the field and to keep his speed up that the small aircraft had him in sight and was following him. They never switched medium large transport to eyw. The captain said he came over on his own. I'm not sure which small aircraft saw him, but I believe it was the second one (small aircraft Y). He was IFR until just prior to calling eyw tower. He cancelled his IFR flight plan with nqx. I believe if I hadn't told small aircraft X about the medium large transport, he might have turned into him. The captain of medium large transport thanked me for turning small aircraft X out (I don't believe he ever saw him).

Title: IFR ACFT ENTERED THE ATA WITHOUT PROPER COORD.
Narrative: I WAS TALKING TO 2 VFR SMA'S RPTING N OF THE EYW VOR. I EXCHANGED TFC (WE HAVE NO BRITE SCOPE--WE USE PLT POS RPTS). I SPOTTED 1 SMA (SMA X) AND AFTER POSITIVE IDENT I CLRED HIM TO LAND. WHILE LOOKING FOR THE OTHER SMA Y THROUGH A PAIR OF BINOCULARS MY GND CTLR SPOTTED AN MLG (IFR) TURNING LEFT BASE INSIDE THE VOR AT HIGH RATE OF SPD. I POINTED OUT TFC TO SMA X, CANCELLED HIS LNDG CLRNC AND MADE HIM #2 TO LAND TO FOLLOW THE MLG. I BELIEVE I ALSO TOLD HIM TO WIDEN HIS BASE OUT TO THE W. MEANWHILE THE GND CTLR CALLING NQX TO SWITCH THE MLG TO MY FREQ. (I STILL WASN'T TALKING TO HIM AND HE WAS ABOUT TO TURN FINAL.) I CALLED TO SEE IF HE WAS ON THE FREQ AT THE SAME TIME HE CALLED ME. I THEN CALLED HIM AGAIN, GAVE HIM HIS LNDG INFO AND CLRED HIM TO LAND. THE CAPT CAME TO VISIT THE TWR I SAID THAT NQX TOLD HIM THAT HE WAS #1 FOR THE FIELD AND TO KEEP HIS SPD UP THAT THE SMA HAD HIM IN SIGHT AND WAS FOLLOWING HIM. THEY NEVER SWITCHED MLG TO EYW. THE CAPT SAID HE CAME OVER ON HIS OWN. I'M NOT SURE WHICH SMA SAW HIM, BUT I BELIEVE IT WAS THE SECOND ONE (SMA Y). HE WAS IFR UNTIL JUST PRIOR TO CALLING EYW TWR. HE CANCELLED HIS IFR FLT PLAN WITH NQX. I BELIEVE IF I HADN'T TOLD SMA X ABOUT THE MLG, HE MIGHT HAVE TURNED INTO HIM. THE CAPT OF MLG THANKED ME FOR TURNING SMA X OUT (I DON'T BELIEVE HE EVER SAW HIM).
