Narrative:

We were cleared for a visibility approach to follow an 11 O'clock traffic aircraft. (Company light transport). We acknowledged. However, there was apparently more than one traffic. We slowed to 170 KTS as requested and were instructed to contact tower. Upon contacting tower, they ordered an immediate left turn to heading 360. Upon initiating the turn, we saw a second light transport on the approach within 2 mi. There were no further instructions or requests and we landed west/O problem. We apparently saw the wrong traffic and did not see the second light transport until the turn initiated. Perhaps to solve the problem ask crew again if they still have traffic in sight.

UPON INITIATING THE TURN, WE SAW A SECOND LTT ON THE APCH WITHIN 2 MI. THERE WERE NO FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS OR REQUESTS AND WE LANDED W/O PROB.
