Narrative:
While working the radios on this flight, west/O permission from center, I called another company flight traveling in the opp direction to give them the WX they could expect going into mia where we had just departed. As this is thunderstorm season this is common practice. I could tell that while we were talking we interfered with center's transmission. When we finished I heard center call another aircraft to direct them to turn immediately or they were in a hot restr area. Nothing was said to us by anyone, but it is my feeling that we may have contributed to the situation by interfering with center's transmission to the other aircraft. The captain on my flight had no part in this. It was over before he even realized what had happened. In the future I will be careful to make a request to center before I talk to another aircraft.
