Cruise at 28000 ft. Windshield instantaneously shattered (pilot side). Descended towards 14000 ft. Complied with memory checklist items. Verified checklist and requested land. Completed landing from copilots seat.not sure what caused event (no signs of bird) looking back would be helpful to have more info on number and different types of window/windshield failures; by cessna. Info on how many C-510 window events and results?
