Narrative:
Center reported we were west of course, while our VOR's reported on course. It had been my experience over the last several months that the big sur VOR is close to being unreliable in the vicinity of the 131 degree right 80-100 NM. Varied fluctuations in the course needle, among different aircraft. Ie, not the aircraft but the VOR reliability is in question. We also report that to ATC.
