Narrative:
Departing dfw on the MRSSH2 departure to the south from 17R; I noticed that the closed navy dallas airport southeast of dfw clearly showed a 35 with normal runway markings on the south end. The north end of the closed navy dallas airport has numerous vehicles parked on it. There was nothing indicating that this airport was closed. My concern is that an aircraft might see these normal runway markings; mistake it for an available runway; and land on it; possibly impacting the numerous vehicles on the north end. These runway markings should be obliterated; or at the very least; a large 'X' put over the 35 on this closed runway.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: CRJ Captain reported the closed Navy Dallas airport still has runway markings indicating it is active.
