Narrative:
Departed hfd, got WX briefing prior to takeoff, no NOTAMS given by briefer. From clearance after takeoff given vector entire route except dreem intersection. After dreem given fly 060 degrees and expect VOR 23. At the last moment changed to ILS 11 circle to land. Changed all radios and flew approach. Turned over to tower just outside bed. Could not break in at first. Then given cleared to land runway 5. Did not expect circle to land on different runway. Never saw that type of clearance given. Radio went out during approach, so I could not hear tower after cleared to land. Clouds were low and scattered. Broke out about 800-900'. Focused on ground airspeed and threshold. Kept runway environment in sight and circled to land. Landed runway 29. During approach did not see truck at far end of 29 because of bulge in runway at center point.

Title: SMA PLT ON ILS CIRCLE TO LAND APCH LANDS WRONG RWY.
Narrative: DEPARTED HFD, GOT WX BRIEFING PRIOR TO TKOF, NO NOTAMS GIVEN BY BRIEFER. FROM CLRNC AFTER TKOF GIVEN VECTOR ENTIRE RTE EXCEPT DREEM INTXN. AFTER DREEM GIVEN FLY 060 DEGS AND EXPECT VOR 23. AT THE LAST MOMENT CHANGED TO ILS 11 CIRCLE TO LAND. CHANGED ALL RADIOS AND FLEW APCH. TURNED OVER TO TWR JUST OUTSIDE BED. COULD NOT BREAK IN AT FIRST. THEN GIVEN CLRED TO LAND RWY 5. DID NOT EXPECT CIRCLE TO LAND ON DIFFERENT RWY. NEVER SAW THAT TYPE OF CLRNC GIVEN. RADIO WENT OUT DURING APCH, SO I COULD NOT HEAR TWR AFTER CLRED TO LAND. CLOUDS WERE LOW AND SCATTERED. BROKE OUT ABOUT 800-900'. FOCUSED ON GND AIRSPD AND THRESHOLD. KEPT RWY ENVIRONMENT IN SIGHT AND CIRCLED TO LAND. LANDED RWY 29. DURING APCH DID NOT SEE TRUCK AT FAR END OF 29 BECAUSE OF BULGE IN RWY AT CENTER POINT.
