Narrative:

During the period I was in contact with the aircraft that was involved, I had 11 other aircraft, one of which was a student pilot requiring radar vectors. The involved aircraft departed east, was routinely radar idented and given a traffic advisory before vectoring on route and issued requested altitude. During the next few mins the artsii data block dropped off of the aircraft. Due to situations in other areas of my sector requiring my eyes to be focused to those spots, I did not notice the absence of the involved aircraft until reviewing my flight progress strips. About the same time the aircraft called wondering if he missed his frequency change. The aircraft was 15 mi into the next facs airspace.
