Narrative:

After release from guidance by ground guide we apparently contacted a people loading stand with a wing tip as we began to taxi. Our maintenance personnel advised us that the stand was parked in a wrong spot and was fully extended which it should not have been. Ground control notified us of the contact. Supplemental information from acn 152947. Ground control notified us that we had contacted a stand. We returned to the gate.

Narrative: AFTER RELEASE FROM GUIDANCE BY GND GUIDE WE APPARENTLY CONTACTED A PEOPLE LOADING STAND WITH A WING TIP AS WE BEGAN TO TAXI. OUR MAINT PERSONNEL ADVISED US THAT THE STAND WAS PARKED IN A WRONG SPOT AND WAS FULLY EXTENDED WHICH IT SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN. GND CTL NOTIFIED US OF THE CONTACT. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 152947.
