Narrative:
I was PF, first officer captain was filling out company requested engine data. I started the log out of 10000'. The first officer was flying with the autoplt in control wheel steering and failed to level off at the assigned altitude. Contributing factors were: buildups in the area and I, the captain, was not monitoring his altitude close enough.
