Narrative:
After landing on runway 8R at den, we exited the runway and I was anticipating taxi instructions. I listened and realized we were still on approach frequency. We had not contacted the tower inbound, nor received landing clearance! We switched to tower, received taxi instructions to the terminal, and nothing was said about our lack of previous contact. I was flying a 4-DAY sequence with a first officer whose military guard unit had been activated and was on his last trip prior to reporting for active duty. My second officer was 3 months pregnant with her first child. I had not previously worked with either pilot, but during the preceding two days of this trip, had caught several potentially disastrous errors these two had made, ie, when instructed to slow to 250 KTS for sequencing, the first officer had begun a descent to FL250. On a maximum ATOG takeoff from den with flaps 5, packs off, the second officer gave us flaps 15 V1 vr V2 speeds on the takeoff card. The picture of the flight film tailwalking down the runway after early rotation, and bursting into flames came to mind. After these, and several other incidents, I was beginning to feel I was having an experience of the 'solo' kind. On the approach in question, I believe I was feeling paranoid and was monitoring the performance of my first officer to the point of excluding my job of PNF. I was perceiving my flying partners minds perhaps, in the middle east, and maternity ward, respectively.

Title: ACR MLG LANDS AT DEN WITHOUT CLRNC.
Narrative: AFTER LNDG ON RWY 8R AT DEN, WE EXITED THE RWY AND I WAS ANTICIPATING TAXI INSTRUCTIONS. I LISTENED AND REALIZED WE WERE STILL ON APCH FREQ. WE HAD NOT CONTACTED THE TWR INBND, NOR RECEIVED LNDG CLRNC! WE SWITCHED TO TWR, RECEIVED TAXI INSTRUCTIONS TO THE TERMINAL, AND NOTHING WAS SAID ABOUT OUR LACK OF PREVIOUS CONTACT. I WAS FLYING A 4-DAY SEQUENCE WITH A F/O WHOSE MIL GUARD UNIT HAD BEEN ACTIVATED AND WAS ON HIS LAST TRIP PRIOR TO RPTING FOR ACTIVE DUTY. MY S/O WAS 3 MONTHS PREGNANT WITH HER FIRST CHILD. I HAD NOT PREVIOUSLY WORKED WITH EITHER PLT, BUT DURING THE PRECEDING TWO DAYS OF THIS TRIP, HAD CAUGHT SEVERAL POTENTIALLY DISASTROUS ERRORS THESE TWO HAD MADE, IE, WHEN INSTRUCTED TO SLOW TO 250 KTS FOR SEQUENCING, THE F/O HAD BEGUN A DSNT TO FL250. ON A MAX ATOG TKOF FROM DEN WITH FLAPS 5, PACKS OFF, THE S/O GAVE US FLAPS 15 V1 VR V2 SPDS ON THE TKOF CARD. THE PICTURE OF THE FLT FILM TAILWALKING DOWN THE RWY AFTER EARLY ROTATION, AND BURSTING INTO FLAMES CAME TO MIND. AFTER THESE, AND SEVERAL OTHER INCIDENTS, I WAS BEGINNING TO FEEL I WAS HAVING AN EXPERIENCE OF THE 'SOLO' KIND. ON THE APCH IN QUESTION, I BELIEVE I WAS FEELING PARANOID AND WAS MONITORING THE PERFORMANCE OF MY F/O TO THE POINT OF EXCLUDING MY JOB OF PNF. I WAS PERCEIVING MY FLYING PARTNERS MINDS PERHAPS, IN THE MIDDLE EAST, AND MATERNITY WARD, RESPECTIVELY.
