Narrative:
During the post flight walk around the first officer observed maintenance personnel removing comat (company material) from the aft cargo compartment. We did not have any comat listed on the [load report]. I approached the maintenance personnel and inquired what had been shipped. I was told 1 item was a 178 lb brake for [another aircraft]. There was also a second smaller package that was also sent.this was a first flight of the day. There was no security form waiting for us at the aircraft; and the cabin had not been searched when we boarded. We were given a completed security form a little while later; so someone claimed to have inspected the cargo compartment prior to loading the passenger bags. I don't know how the comat was loaded; or when. I only became aware of it after landing. I have messaged [the chief pilot] with a scan of the [load report] and a picture of the wheel assembly.whoever loaded the comat needs to comply with SOP to ensure the [load report] is correct before presenting it to the crew.
