Narrative:
Received 'position and hold' from tower at ord. As we crossed hold short we received 'cleared for takeoff.' at that time a revised load closeout came up on ACARS printer. This required resetting our trim, thumb wheel and rechking for legality. We ended up delaying on runway for 15-20 seconds while we performed these checks. Did not tell tower because we both fixated on making required changes. Recommendations and observations: I should have informed ord tower of delay. Contributing factor is that airline sent incorrect load information which required a subsequent correction during a critical phase of flight.

Title: ACR MLG DELAYS TKOF AS ACARS INFORMATION ARRIVES FOR AMENDED TKOF DATA JUST AS ACFT ENTERS RWY 27R AT ORD.
