Narrative:
Upon first landing with student; tail wheel leaf spring broke. I was able to lift the tail with aircraft thrust and control the aircraft to taxi off of the runway to a taxiway where the aircraft was towed to the hanger using a tug. The landing was not a hard landing. The aircraft only has around 120 flight hours since new.
