Narrative:
Incident occurred at the end of a 4 day trip on the last leg. Pittsburgh ramp control cleared us to taxi on oscar to hold short of tango. At this point there are numerous txwys coming together. The txwys are not well marked. Also at this time we were running the checklist and communicating with ATC. Pittsburgh ground cleared us to turn left on tango, cross 28C, taxi to runway 28L. We inadvertently turned left on papa. Making a half left instead of a full left onto tango. At this point it is a short taxi to runway 32, and we xed before realizing our mistake. Runway 32 had been closed for some time for construction, and had only recently reopened. As a result, we were unaccustomed to an active runway being so close. Supplemental information from acn 157351. First officer was also preoccupied with checklist and the constant unfamiliarity of construction that had torn pitt airport apart for the last yr. I stopped at the runway an checked then proceeded across as first officer confirmed direction. The txwys at that point of the junction are poorly marked. Runway 32 has been closed for about 1 yr so crossing this normally on a daily basis was considered normal.

Title: ACR MLG UNAUTH RWY CROSSING AT PIT. REPORTS CLAIM POOR TXWY MARKINGS.
Narrative: INCIDENT OCCURRED AT THE END OF A 4 DAY TRIP ON THE LAST LEG. PITTSBURGH RAMP CTL CLRED US TO TAXI ON OSCAR TO HOLD SHORT OF TANGO. AT THIS POINT THERE ARE NUMEROUS TXWYS COMING TOGETHER. THE TXWYS ARE NOT WELL MARKED. ALSO AT THIS TIME WE WERE RUNNING THE CHKLIST AND COMMUNICATING WITH ATC. PITTSBURGH GND CLRED US TO TURN L ON TANGO, CROSS 28C, TAXI TO RWY 28L. WE INADVERTENTLY TURNED L ON PAPA. MAKING A HALF L INSTEAD OF A FULL L ONTO TANGO. AT THIS POINT IT IS A SHORT TAXI TO RWY 32, AND WE XED BEFORE REALIZING OUR MISTAKE. RWY 32 HAD BEEN CLOSED FOR SOME TIME FOR CONSTRUCTION, AND HAD ONLY RECENTLY REOPENED. AS A RESULT, WE WERE UNACCUSTOMED TO AN ACTIVE RWY BEING SO CLOSE. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 157351. F/O WAS ALSO PREOCCUPIED WITH CHKLIST AND THE CONSTANT UNFAMILIARITY OF CONSTRUCTION THAT HAD TORN PITT ARPT APART FOR THE LAST YR. I STOPPED AT THE RWY AN CHKED THEN PROCEEDED ACROSS AS F/O CONFIRMED DIRECTION. THE TXWYS AT THAT POINT OF THE JUNCTION ARE POORLY MARKED. RWY 32 HAS BEEN CLOSED FOR ABOUT 1 YR SO XING THIS NORMALLY ON A DAILY BASIS WAS CONSIDERED NORMAL.
