Narrative:
We were in VFR conditions and were able to visually see that the aircraft locked onto something other than little rock airport 22 right frequency. We disconnected automation and visual hand-flew to the correct runway. My major concern is what would have happened in IMC. The approach controller was busy and gave us a heading of 190 to intercept 22 right localizer. We were descending and once we corrected the flight path we got a little high. Once cleared for the visual and handed over to tower we asked for an s-turn to the west. We reported to the tower and I called the approach facility and told them about the navigational error on 22R localizer frequency.

Title: Air carrier Captain reported a Runway 22 localizer anomaly at LIT airport.
Narrative: We were in VFR conditions and were able to visually see that the aircraft locked onto something other than Little Rock Airport 22 R frequency. We disconnected automation and visual hand-flew to the correct runway. My major concern is what would have happened in IMC. The Approach Controller was busy and gave us a heading of 190 to intercept 22 R LOC. We were descending and once we corrected the flight path we got a little high. Once cleared for the visual and handed over to Tower we asked for an S-turn to the west. We reported to the Tower and I called the approach facility and told them about the navigational error on 22R localizer frequency.
