Narrative:
Aircraft X was taxiing down taxiway toward gate. The conditions were dark and raining. Rain was actively falling and the wind was sending the rain in all directions. I was pulling an airstart machine with an electric tractor across the taxiway in the designated lanes. There was a plane coming from the north from which I did not see until the very last minute. The approaching plane did not have any taxi lights on at all. The plane was noticed at the last minute and I had to go in another direction to avoid the plane and to avert a head on collision.
