Narrative:
The purpose of this report is to document marginal ground operations conditions. These marginal situations put an extra burden on the pilot. They may lead to incidents/accidents. The pilot will be blamed, when the circumstances put the pilot in an unsafe environment. Problem. Excess ramp lighting from the terminal on high poles that project on ramps/gates. Taxiing into gates is difficult looking into glare, especially if it is wet on the ramp. Location: bwi, ont, ewr.
