Narrative:
After landing lih while taxiing to the terminal, we heard a circuit breaker pop followed by a F/a call that there was smoke in the cabin. We attempted to isolate the electrical system and called for the fire trucks. I made an announcement to the passenger to deplane in an orderly fashion through the jetway. No emergency evacuation, no injuries, and no damage to baggage noted. Fire trucks on scene, then turned off all electrical power. On post-flight inspection fire apparently came from a panel in the forward baggage bin. I don't believe anything could have been done to prevent the problem which appeared to be a short circuit.
