Narrative:
Radar vectors to final approach course. OM on G/south and localizer, WX went below 1800' RVR (captain CAT I only). ATC checks for new RVR right before beele. Aircraft was on autoplt, approach mode engaged. Localizer and G/south intercepted. As we crossed beele continuing on G/south, we got clearance to hold at beele, hold south, left turns at 1600'. I read back clearance. I looked back at INS and we had descended to 980', still on G/south and localizer. Captain tried to get autoplt to climb to 1600' and turn left. With this aircraft, once on G/south and localizer in approach mode, there is no way to override except to shut off autoplt or push the go around button. Captain shut off autoplt, but by this time we were at 980'. We started turn and climb to 1600', entering hold. WX came up. We landed uneventfully. Human factors involved: we had to awaken early pacific time, where our body clocks were. There was no time for breakfast. It was the first flight of the day. We left pbi at XX51 PST. On approach, very busy over beele, talking to approach control and helping PF with aircraft. I think we could do better if we flew on body clock times. Have 3 people crews to help out with workload.

Narrative: RADAR VECTORS TO FINAL APCH COURSE. OM ON G/S AND LOC, WX WENT BELOW 1800' RVR (CAPT CAT I ONLY). ATC CHKS FOR NEW RVR RIGHT BEFORE BEELE. ACFT WAS ON AUTOPLT, APCH MODE ENGAGED. LOC AND G/S INTERCEPTED. AS WE CROSSED BEELE CONTINUING ON G/S, WE GOT CLRNC TO HOLD AT BEELE, HOLD S, LEFT TURNS AT 1600'. I READ BACK CLRNC. I LOOKED BACK AT INS AND WE HAD DSNDED TO 980', STILL ON G/S AND LOC. CAPT TRIED TO GET AUTOPLT TO CLB TO 1600' AND TURN LEFT. WITH THIS ACFT, ONCE ON G/S AND LOC IN APCH MODE, THERE IS NO WAY TO OVERRIDE EXCEPT TO SHUT OFF AUTOPLT OR PUSH THE GAR BUTTON. CAPT SHUT OFF AUTOPLT, BUT BY THIS TIME WE WERE AT 980'. WE STARTED TURN AND CLB TO 1600', ENTERING HOLD. WX CAME UP. WE LANDED UNEVENTFULLY. HUMAN FACTORS INVOLVED: WE HAD TO AWAKEN EARLY PACIFIC TIME, WHERE OUR BODY CLOCKS WERE. THERE WAS NO TIME FOR BREAKFAST. IT WAS THE FIRST FLT OF THE DAY. WE LEFT PBI AT XX51 PST. ON APCH, VERY BUSY OVER BEELE, TALKING TO APCH CTL AND HELPING PF WITH ACFT.
