Narrative:
I was the first officer flying on flight from bos to cle. We were initially instructed by ground control to taxi to runway 27. En route to that runway, we were reclred to runway 33. Tower then cleared us for the takeoff and we departed. On the initial climb out we experienced a problem with the aircraft no pressurizing properly and both captain and I were trying to resolve it. There was a 15 degree left turn at 2 DME as part of the SID for noise abatement, which we failed to make. Also there is an initial altitude restriction of 5000' MSL. We were in the climb at 5000' MSL when I realized our altitude and promptly nosed over. However, we exceeded the 5000' MSL by 300-400' before going back down to 5000' MSL. Also the captain was having trouble hearing through the headset and missed a couple of radio calls so I had to use the radio to respond. All of this was going on at the same time and my attention was diverted from my primary responsibility of flying. Classic error that I never thought I would let myself get sucked into!

Narrative: I WAS THE F/O FLYING ON FLT FROM BOS TO CLE. WE WERE INITIALLY INSTRUCTED BY GND CTL TO TAXI TO RWY 27. ENRTE TO THAT RWY, WE WERE RECLRED TO RWY 33. TWR THEN CLRED US FOR THE TKOF AND WE DEPARTED. ON THE INITIAL CLB OUT WE EXPERIENCED A PROB WITH THE ACFT NO PRESSURIZING PROPERLY AND BOTH CAPT AND I WERE TRYING TO RESOLVE IT. WE WERE IN THE CLB AT 5000' MSL WHEN I REALIZED OUR ALT AND PROMPTLY NOSED OVER. HOWEVER, WE EXCEEDED THE 5000' MSL BY 300-400' BEFORE GOING BACK DOWN TO 5000' MSL. ALSO THE CAPT WAS HAVING TROUBLE HEARING THROUGH THE HEADSET AND MISSED A COUPLE OF RADIO CALLS SO I HAD TO USE THE RADIO TO RESPOND. ALL OF THIS WAS GOING ON AT THE SAME TIME AND MY ATTN WAS DIVERTED FROM MY PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY OF FLYING. CLASSIC ERROR THAT I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD LET MYSELF GET SUCKED INTO!
