Narrative:
Flight had dry ice in the lower forward belly. I was unaware of this until the captain called and mentioned it in passing. This requires an over burn of .4% that was not on the flight plan. Informed the captain about the need for the over burn. Sent a new flight plan to the crew with the over burn on it.cause: most ramp agents are unaware of the need to relay to operational control about dry ice or perishables and the over burn requirementramp agents in ZZZ need to be informed about notifying dispatcher about dry ice or perishables on the airplane.
