Narrative:
WX conditions were poor with snow, which was mostly light mixed in with some periods of moderate. Visibility reported 1/2 mi. Runway 3C and 3L had a temporary fdc NOTAM requiring 1 mi visibility for takeoff, which left 3R the only usable runway for departure. Our flight finally departed for takeoff after a 2 hour delay and 2 deicing cycles. After approximately 15 mins of taxi the visibility increased to 1 mi, which allowed us to use runway 3C for takeoff. Since our flight was the first aircraft to depart runway 3C in approximately 30 mins, there were no runway conditions reported, and from our perspective there appeared to be 1/2-1' of snow on the left side of the centerline, with the right side relatively clear. I accepted the takeoff clearance and at 90 KTS experienced a compressor stall on the right engine due to runway contamination. I would most certainly do things differently the next time. My conclusion would be to get a runway condition report, and from the ATC perspective they should have inspected the runway before asking any aircraft to accept a departure.

Title: CAPT DETECTED COMPRESSOR STALL DURING TKOF ON SNOW-COVERED RWY. ABORTED TKOF.
Narrative: WX CONDITIONS WERE POOR WITH SNOW, WHICH WAS MOSTLY LIGHT MIXED IN WITH SOME PERIODS OF MODERATE. VISIBILITY RPTED 1/2 MI. RWY 3C AND 3L HAD A TEMPORARY FDC NOTAM REQUIRING 1 MI VISIBILITY FOR TKOF, WHICH LEFT 3R THE ONLY USABLE RWY FOR DEP. OUR FLT FINALLY DEPARTED FOR TKOF AFTER A 2 HR DELAY AND 2 DEICING CYCLES. AFTER APPROX 15 MINS OF TAXI THE VISIBILITY INCREASED TO 1 MI, WHICH ALLOWED US TO USE RWY 3C FOR TKOF.
