Narrative:
Ramp personnel reported 47 bags on board. When arrived at destination I was informed that there were 52 bags and 3# of mail. This could lead to potential problems and could be remedied only by making ramp personnel responsible for their actions.

Title: FLT CREW OF A COMMUTER LTT WAS GIVEN THE WRONG BAGGAGE COUNT BEFORE TKOF. ERROR DISCOVERED AT DESTINATION.
Narrative: RAMP PERSONNEL RPTED 47 BAGS ON BOARD. WHEN ARRIVED AT DEST I WAS INFORMED THAT THERE WERE 52 BAGS AND 3# OF MAIL. THIS COULD LEAD TO POTENTIAL PROBS AND COULD BE REMEDIED ONLY BY MAKING RAMP PERSONNEL RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR ACTIONS.
