Narrative:
On 2/sat/91, we departed cdw approximately PM20 EST, flying VFR on a general routing cdw-dir-bwz-V457-lrp-V143-mrb-dir-roa. I communicated with cdw ground and tower on departure. Flying cdw-dir-bwz, I flew below the 2500' floor of ny TCA, and monitored but did not communicate with ZNY on 127.6 and morristown tower on 118.1. After departing the ny TCA, I had no further radio communication until contacting roa approach approximately 30 mi northeast inbound. After departing ny TCA, I cruised at 4500' for a short time, and the balance of the flight was at 6500'. Flight conditions were excellent VFR, smooth ride and favorable tailwind. After landing and getting onto ground control, I was requested by the controller to call the tower by phone. In this call, I was advised that leesburg showed my flight to have overflown camp david, md, and they requested my home address and phone #, which I provided. On 2/sun/91, I was called at home by a navy corporal and advised my flight on 2/sat/91 had penetrated R4009. I am aware of the meaning and importance of special use airspace. I did not, and would not, intentionally penetrate prohibited or restr airspace. In the future, when I am flying VFR on a route that approachs restr or prohibited airspace, I will make radio contact with the appropriate center sector.

Title: UNAUTH PENETRATION OF AIRSPACE.
Narrative: ON 2/SAT/91, WE DEPARTED CDW APPROX PM20 EST, FLYING VFR ON A GENERAL RTING CDW-DIR-BWZ-V457-LRP-V143-MRB-DIR-ROA. I COMMUNICATED WITH CDW GND AND TWR ON DEP. FLYING CDW-DIR-BWZ, I FLEW BELOW THE 2500' FLOOR OF NY TCA, AND MONITORED BUT DID NOT COMMUNICATE WITH ZNY ON 127.6 AND MORRISTOWN TWR ON 118.1. AFTER DEPARTING THE NY TCA, I HAD NO FURTHER RADIO COM UNTIL CONTACTING ROA APCH APPROX 30 MI NE INBND. AFTER DEPARTING NY TCA, I CRUISED AT 4500' FOR A SHORT TIME, AND THE BALANCE OF THE FLT WAS AT 6500'. FLT CONDITIONS WERE EXCELLENT VFR, SMOOTH RIDE AND FAVORABLE TAILWIND. AFTER LNDG AND GETTING ONTO GND CTL, I WAS REQUESTED BY THE CTLR TO CALL THE TWR BY PHONE. IN THIS CALL, I WAS ADVISED THAT LEESBURG SHOWED MY FLT TO HAVE OVERFLOWN CAMP DAVID, MD, AND THEY REQUESTED MY HOME ADDRESS AND PHONE #, WHICH I PROVIDED. ON 2/SUN/91, I WAS CALLED AT HOME BY A NAVY CORPORAL AND ADVISED MY FLT ON 2/SAT/91 HAD PENETRATED R4009. I AM AWARE OF THE MEANING AND IMPORTANCE OF SPECIAL USE AIRSPACE. I DID NOT, AND WOULD NOT, INTENTIONALLY PENETRATE PROHIBITED OR RESTR AIRSPACE. IN THE FUTURE, WHEN I AM FLYING VFR ON A RTE THAT APCHS RESTR OR PROHIBITED AIRSPACE, I WILL MAKE RADIO CONTACT WITH THE APPROPRIATE CENTER SECTOR.
