Narrative:
Taxiway west, taxiway a, cvg, turning north to gate. First officer had me stop, and a fuel truck passed from behind my right wingtip at abut 30 mph, swerving to miss our aircraft, having to move out of the veh lane parallel to and north of taxiway a. Our ramp supervisor told me this is a continuing problem. We would have been close to hitting him if I had not stopped. Ramp was wet from rain.
