Narrative:
During taxi in turn before entering the runway for takeoff, the aircraft became unresponsive to steering command. Found broken ground wire at left antiskid generator. Taxi with antiskid off until on runway, ready for takeoff. Taxi at very slow speed during taxi with aircraft that doesn't have a positive steering system.

Title: CPR SMT RWY EXCURSION TAXIING INTO POSITION FOR TKOF.
Narrative: DURING TAXI IN TURN BEFORE ENTERING THE RWY FOR TKOF, THE ACFT BECAME UNRESPONSIVE TO STEERING COMMAND. FOUND BROKEN GND WIRE AT LEFT ANTISKID GENERATOR. TAXI WITH ANTISKID OFF UNTIL ON RWY, READY FOR TKOF. TAXI AT VERY SLOW SPD DURING TAXI WITH ACFT THAT DOESN'T HAVE A POSITIVE STEERING SYS.
