Narrative:
Aircraft contacted wire while flying into sun in late afternoon on westerly heading, west/O sunglasses, causing slight damage to airplane. An uneventful landing followed at home airport. The aircraft involved was an small aircraft. Recurrence can be prevented by wearing sunglasses, being more alert to effect of sun at time of day involved, and monitoring altitude more closely.
