Narrative:
I was in cruise at FL280 when TCAS command to descend was received. I complied with rate of descent of 1100 FPM to FL277. TCAS cleared and I returned to FL280. Entire event took less than 1 min. I advised ATC of the 300' altitude deviation. After landing at den, I phoned den ATC and discussed the event with the area 3 supervisor.

Title: ALT DEVIATION ALT EXCURSION ON TCASII ALERT RESOLUTION COMMAND.
Narrative: I WAS IN CRUISE AT FL280 WHEN TCAS COMMAND TO DSND WAS RECEIVED. I COMPLIED WITH RATE OF DSNT OF 1100 FPM TO FL277. TCAS CLRED AND I RETURNED TO FL280. ENTIRE EVENT TOOK LESS THAN 1 MIN. I ADVISED ATC OF THE 300' ALT DEVIATION. AFTER LNDG AT DEN, I PHONED DEN ATC AND DISCUSSED THE EVENT WITH THE AREA 3 SUPVR.
