Narrative:
We were being guided into a parking spot by uniformed ramp personnel. Our left wing contacted jetway poking a small 5' hole in the leading edge of wing. Ramp attendant did not seem aware of close proximity of jetway as he did not signal us to stop until we had already hit jetway. Our vision was obstructed by the jetway. Later found out that ramp attendant parking us was unaware jetway had been extended to accommodate a larger aircraft which had previously been at the gate.
