Narrative:
Prepare to land at middletown, oh. Called unicom 9 southeast. Advised runway 23 right traffic. No other traffic reported. Called 2 southeast. Crossing 21/2 mi off end of runway to enter right downwind for 23. Small aircraft crossed 300 yds in front and approximately 50' higher than me and appeared to enter left downwind. Lost sight of other aircraft. Called on unicom downwind, base and final while looking for traffic. No answer on unicom. Landed with gear up.

SMA CROSSED 300 YDS IN FRONT AND APPROX 50' HIGHER THAN ME AND APPEARED TO ENTER LEFT DOWNWIND. LOST SIGHT OF OTHER ACFT. CALLED ON UNICOM DOWNWIND, BASE AND FINAL WHILE LOOKING FOR TFC. NO ANSWER ON UNICOM. LANDED WITH GEAR UP.
