Narrative:

The copilot was flying the light transport. We had passed lrp VOR and were to depart on V-93. The copilot mistakenly picked up V-39. Ny center vectored us back to the correct arwy saying there was conflicting traffic (opp direction) on V-39. We had been at 9000', but were just cleared to, and had climbed to, 10000'. Center had issued the 10000' (wrong altitude for eastbound IFR). Contributing factor was having two nearby arwys with similar numbers ie, V-39, V-93. Another unrelated but confusing arwy is 057 degree right out of ard on the northeast corridor (1-2 commercial chart) en route chart. The '057', printed in blue is right over a river, also blue. It looks like '067'.
