Narrative:
Medium large transport was cleared for takeoff on runway 26R while XXX airlines large transport was landing on 26L. At approximately 110 knots, it became evident that the large transport was not going to stop after clearing 26L and continued to cross 26R. Medium large transport initiated an abort and stopped on 26R while large transport cleared 26R. Medium large transport returned to the gate to talk with the tower. Get a new flight plan and check brake temperature then departed for dfw.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: LGT LNDG CROSSED ACTIVE RWY IN FRONT OF MLG ON TKOF ROLL. MLG ABORTED TKOF.
Narrative: MLG WAS CLRED FOR TKOF ON RWY 26R WHILE XXX AIRLINES LGT WAS LNDG ON 26L. AT APPROX 110 KNOTS, IT BECAME EVIDENT THAT THE LGT WAS NOT GOING TO STOP AFTER CLRING 26L AND CONTINUED TO CROSS 26R. MLG INITIATED AN ABORT AND STOPPED ON 26R WHILE LGT CLRED 26R. MLG RETURNED TO THE GATE TO TALK WITH THE TWR. GET A NEW FLT PLAN AND CHK BRAKE TEMP THEN DEPARTED FOR DFW.
