Narrative:
On approach control frequency 118.6 inbound to cak saginaw, mi ATIS was plainly audible and quite disturbing. I could receive ATIS from 9000 ft down to 4000 ft MSL while descending for approach to cak. This occurred during a relatively low-use time and did not cause a problem, but the potential for extraneous #'south to be inserted between transmissions is very high.
