Narrative:

I was on my last solo cross country as a student pilot. I called johnson county (executive) tower (ojc) and got clearance to land. Coming from the southeast I mistook my destination (ojc) as hillside (farther southeast) and flew by and landed at the other johnson county airport (ixd) industrial. I was told to telephone the tower when I landed. By telephone the industrial tower was very hostile and said I'd also taxied across an active runway. Ask why couldn't I tell the 3 runways (ixd) was not (ojc). I thought other 2 runways must be closed and so were not shown on the map. Even the hangars were in same relative position and diagram (on east and west). At departure time after the control tower's indignant browbeating it bothered me so that I flew a long way south to keep out of 2 more air traffic area's on my real course line. This took me way off course and took a lot longer but I finally got back on my eastbound course. Supplemental information from acn 186631: this is not the first time the similarity of the 3 tower field (ixd, ojc, and gvw) south of the kansas city metropolitan area have been misidented by students. We believe the student should have been more intent on using both the VOR (ojc) on the field and NDB on the north end for orientation purposes.
