Narrative:

On flight den to dfw, while on the arrival at 11000 ft, a RA on TCASII commanded a climb of 1000 FPM. Center had called 1 target which we saw at 1 O'clock but this was a different target. I rapidly climbed to about 11800 ft before starting back down. #1 flight attendant reported an medium large transport passing below us, close! Neither the captain nor I a jump seating controller (den center) saw the target aircraft. The conflict occurred just prior to a turn with altitude/airspeed/DME restrictions. Center later said that he did not show it as a conflict. Our TCASII saw it otherwise.
