Narrative:
Illogical fire indications from central warning panel on right engine at 5000 ft, 12 mi north of msp. Heavy rain environment, indications never steady and always cancelled themselves. Shortly after declaring emergency, all cockpit indications normal, received immediate vectors for visual landing runway 22, landed, shut down engine on rollout. Requested crash fire rescue equipment following to gate.

Narrative: ILLOGICAL FIRE INDICATIONS FROM CENTRAL WARNING PANEL ON R ENG AT 5000 FT, 12 MI N OF MSP. HVY RAIN ENVIRONMENT, INDICATIONS NEVER STEADY AND ALWAYS CANCELLED THEMSELVES.
