Narrative:
Avionics smoke warning illuminated and the checklists were completed. No smoke/heat was noted in cockpit. Flight attendant was informed and reported no smoke/heat in cabin. To verify no external smoke/fire an emergency was declared with memphis approach. Crash fire rescue equipment were requested. Dispatch and operations were notified, passenger were briefed. A normal approach and landing were made. Emergency vehicles noted no fire/smoke. Emergency was canceled and the aircraft was parked at the gate and maintenance was informed.

Title: COMMUTER LTT HAD AVIONICS SMOKE WARNING LIGHT. CHKLISTS FOLLOWED AND NO SMOKE/HEAT NOTED IN COCKPIT OR CABIN AREA. EMER DECLARED WITH A REQUEST EQUIP STAND BY AND PAX BRIEFED. NORMAL LNDG MADE AND GND CREW NOTED NO EVIDENCE OF FIRE OR SMOKE.

TO VERIFY NO EXTERNAL SMOKE/FIRE AN EMER WAS DECLARED WITH MEMPHIS APCH. CFR WERE REQUESTED. DISPATCH AND OPS WERE NOTIFIED, PAX WERE BRIEFED. A NORMAL APCH AND LNDG WERE MADE. EMER VEHICLES NOTED NO FIRE/SMOKE. EMER WAS CANCELED AND THE ACFT WAS PARKED AT THE GATE AND MAINT WAS INFORMED.
