Narrative:
Approximately 75 northwest of bacus intersection washington center (133.82) advised 'radar contact lost report bacus this frequency with a tallo estimate'. Upon reaching bacus we reported our position with a tallo estimate. We were also given a clearance to climb to FL370 south of 30 degrees north (which I would assume was coordinated with ny oceanic) and further positions reported to ny. Upon reaching tallo intersection ny (8846 HF) had no record of our flight and wondered how we got from bacus to tallo without talking to anyone. In fact we had made our last report (bacus) to washington. I don't know exactly what the problem was but it appears washington center did not hand us off to my oceanic (although they must of talked as a clearance to FL370 was coordinated).

Title: ACR LGT QUESTIONED ABOUT FAILURE TO MAKE A POS RPT.
Narrative: APPROX 75 NW OF BACUS INTXN WASHINGTON CTR (133.82) ADVISED 'RADAR CONTACT LOST RPT BACUS THIS FREQ WITH A TALLO ESTIMATE'. UPON REACHING BACUS WE RPTED OUR POS WITH A TALLO ESTIMATE. WE WERE ALSO GIVEN A CLRNC TO CLB TO FL370 S OF 30 DEGS N (WHICH I WOULD ASSUME WAS COORDINATED WITH NY OCEANIC) AND FURTHER POSITIONS RPTED TO NY. UPON REACHING TALLO INTXN NY (8846 HF) HAD NO RECORD OF OUR FLT AND WONDERED HOW WE GOT FROM BACUS TO TALLO WITHOUT TALKING TO ANYONE. IN FACT WE HAD MADE OUR LAST RPT (BACUS) TO WASHINGTON. I DON'T KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS BUT IT APPEARS WASHINGTON CTR DID NOT HAND US OFF TO MY OCEANIC (ALTHOUGH THEY MUST OF TALKED AS A CLRNC TO FL370 WAS COORDINATED).
