Narrative:
Airport beacon at cha is not visible from a distance or from the runway and does not perform its function as a visual aid. It is too dim. I made this report to the cha tower controller, and he said many pilots have made the same comment. Please put a beacon with a brighter light so we can use it.

Title: RPTR COMPLAINS THAT THE ARPT BEACON AT CHA IS TOO DIM TO BE USED AS A GUIDE TO THE ARPT.
Narrative: ARPT BEACON AT CHA IS NOT VISIBLE FROM A DISTANCE OR FROM THE RWY AND DOES NOT PERFORM ITS FUNCTION AS A VISUAL AID. IT IS TOO DIM. I MADE THIS RPT TO THE CHA TWR CTLR, AND HE SAID MANY PLTS HAVE MADE THE SAME COMMENT. PLEASE PUT A BEACON WITH A BRIGHTER LIGHT SO WE CAN USE IT.
