Narrative:
Departed gate with release indicating incorrect aircraft number. Discovered this error during climb and contacted dispatch for an amended release. Closer attention to detail would have prevented this error. WX and NOTAM information were correct however aircraft number and date were off. Less dependence on dispatch and greater attention to all details of the release would prevent this type of error.

Title: ACR OPS WITH THE WRONG FLT RELEASE.
Narrative: DEPARTED GATE WITH RELEASE INDICATING INCORRECT ACFT NUMBER. DISCOVERED THIS ERROR DURING CLB AND CONTACTED DISPATCH FOR AN AMENDED RELEASE. CLOSER ATTN TO DETAIL WOULD HAVE PREVENTED THIS ERROR. WX AND NOTAM INFO WERE CORRECT HOWEVER ACFT NUMBER AND DATE WERE OFF. LESS DEPENDENCE ON DISPATCH AND GREATER ATTN TO ALL DETAILS OF THE RELEASE WOULD PREVENT THIS TYPE OF ERROR.
