Narrative:
I was instructing an instrument student. We were executing the VOR/DME approach at och. I had been making radio calls at the various approachs inbound. I had talked to an aircraft who had landed. After executing missed approach another aircraft called and said we nearly collided. I had no response from him or any of the calls during the approach. When I asked his position he just said he was flying around. I never did see him. I will do minor turns and be more diligent as a safety pilot. Try to look around the wings a little more.
