Narrative:
Air carrier X was cleared into position and hold on runway 36 traffic was a helicopter instructed to hold short on grass on east side of 36. Controller spoke to helicopter several times as we were getting into position. The helicopter held short and the tower cleared us for takeoff. As we started our takeoff roll the captain called for an abort. An small aircraft landed on the crossing runway (29). I used full reverse and brakes, averting a collision. The tower reiterated that we were cleared for takeoff. We continued the flight without further incident.

Title: ACR X HAD LTSS FROM SMA LNDG ON INTERSECTING RWY. SYS ERROR.
Narrative: ACR X WAS CLRED INTO POS AND HOLD ON RWY 36 TFC WAS A HELI INSTRUCTED TO HOLD SHORT ON GRASS ON E SIDE OF 36. CTLR SPOKE TO HELI SEVERAL TIMES AS WE WERE GETTING INTO POS. THE HELI HELD SHORT AND THE TWR CLRED US FOR TKOF. AS WE STARTED OUR TKOF ROLL THE CAPT CALLED FOR AN ABORT. AN SMA LANDED ON THE XING RWY (29). I USED FULL REVERSE AND BRAKES, AVERTING A COLLISION. THE TWR REITERATED THAT WE WERE CLRED FOR TKOF. WE CONTINUED THE FLT WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.
