Narrative:
I was copilot of airline flight dfw-gso. Just after turning to intercept the 041 radial off spa outbound, level at FL240, TCASII commanded 'climb, climb' at 1900 FPM. We began a 1900 FPM climb, at which time TCASII ceased. We peaked at 24700 ft, and started down to FL240. At the onset of our climb, we reported to ZTL immediately of our action. They advised us of traffic at 12 O'clock, 1 mi, FL250. We never saw the initial traffic below us from which TCASII warned us of, nor the traffic reported by center at 12 O'clock.
