Narrative:

Cleared to taxi to runway 10. Both engines running at idle. PIC turned aircraft 180 degrees to taxi away from terminal. Engines advanced very small amount above idle to initiate taxi. Immediately returned to idle. Told by company 15 mins after departing that an unsecured garbage can lid had blown off a can and shattered a terminal window. At no time was excessive power ever used. Suggestion: 1) remove all garbage cans from area of engine blast. 2) failing that, secure both can and lid to same to fence.
