Narrative:

Aircraft left wingtip struck a catering truck parked on the 'clear' line while pulling into a gate. The impact was on the extreme end of the wingtip and occurred during the last 1 to 2 ft of taxi into the gate. The captain stated he saw the truck moving just inside the 'clear' line area as we began moving into the gate, but did not verbalize this. I did not see the truck inside the clear area as I was engaged in clearing my side of the aircraft. Many vehicles were both in motion and stationary in the vicinity of the gate outside the 'clear' zone. Evidently, the catering truck stopped on the left side clear line out of view of the crew beyond the jetway. At impact, the truck was not visible to either pilot due to the jetway and the aircraft was under the direction of a ground guide. The ground guide continued to motion the aircraft forward even after impact.
