Narrative:
While parked at gate in charlotte, we were ready for pushback when the pushback crew notified us that one of our static wicks on the left wing was found on the ground. The captain said let's replace it and he went to see if there was any damage on the wingtip. Apparently the B737-400 next to us overshot the taxi line and its static wicks brushed ours and broke ours off. The gates are too close for a 300 and 400. Should be only 200 and 300's allowed to park on these gates. No damage was found on our plane. The wick was replaced in 5 mins and we were underway.
